Pay Your 2022 Winter Taxes in Person

The Arlington Township Treasurer is available in person at the Arlington Township Hall (52022 34th Avenue, Bangor, MI) from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on September 14th to collect Summer taxes, as well as February 28th to collect Winter and Summer (deferred or delinquent) taxes.
If paying in cash, you must have the exact amount; no change made. We can accept checks, money orders, or cashiers checks. We DO NOT accept credit or debit cards.

February 28th is the last day to submit your current year Summer and Winter tax (2022) payments to Arlington Township.
Summer tax payments become delinquent on September 15th. Summer taxes not paid or postmarked by this date are considered late, and incur a 1% interest charge through September 30th, and an additional 1% at the 1st day of each month until February 28th.
Winter tax payments become delinquent March 1st.
Beginning March 1st, you must submit unpaid Summer and Winter tax payments to the Van Buren County Treasurer.

Township Transfer Station Dates

trash canThe Arlington Township Transfer Station will be open on May 14 and September 10. The Transfer Station will be open from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM and is free to all Arlington Township residents. Household waste only! We do not accept tires, paint, pesticides, hazardous materials, lawn clippings, brush or carpenter waste. The Transfer Station is located at the corner of 52nd St and 26th Ave, Bangor, MI 49013.
