Board of Trustees Meeting
The March  Meeting of the Arlington Township Board of Trustees will be held virtually on line using the "ZOOM" meeting format on Wednesday March 17th 2021 with the Annual Meeting beginning at 6:30PM and with the Regular March Meeting beginning immediately after or at 7:00PM. Meeting of the Arlington Township Planning Commission

A Meeting of the Arlington Township Planning Commission will be held virtually online using the "ZOOM" Meeting format on Monday March 15th, 2021 at 6:00PM.  As a result of the restrictions on public gathering and social distancing, all Arlington Township Planning Commission Meetings, will be held online virtually using the "ZOOM" Meeting format until further notice. March Board of Review Appeal Information:
The Board Of Review will hear assessment appeals at the Township Hall 52022 34th Avenue, Bangor, MI 49013 on the following dates: Monday March 8th, 2021 from 2PM - 5PM and 6PM - 9PM. Also on Friday March 12th, 2021 from 9AM - Noon and 1PM - 4PM. Written appeals will be accepted if received by March 12, 2021.

STAY TUNED! The Arlington Township Transfer Station will be open tentatively on Saturday May 8th, 2021 and Saturday September 11, 2021. The Transfer Station will be open from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM and is free to all Arlington Township residents. Household waste only! We do not accept tires, paint, hazardous materials, lawn clippings, brush or carpenter waste. The Transfer Station is located at the corner of 52nd St and 26th Ave, Bangor, MI 49013.

Township Hall Office Hours

Due to staffing conflicts we will discontinue the part time hours at the Township Hall at 52022 34th Avenue, Bangor, MI 49013 until further notice. Please stay tuned to this webpage as we progress as the part time hours are subject to renewal or change. Due to State regulations a face covering and social distancing is required to enter the facility. 

2020 Property Taxes

The Summer 2020 Property Taxes were due on September 14th 2020.If you did not pay on or before this date they are considered late and 1% interest must be added until September 30th, 2020 and then there must be 1% added each month until they are paid. If they are not paid or postmarked by March 1st, 2021 then they will be considered delinquent and can only be paid to Van Buren County Treasurers Office. The Winter 2020 Property Taxes should have arrived in your mailbox around December 1st, 2020 and are due no later than March 1st, 2021. The Arlington Township Treasurer will be available in person at the Arlington Township Hall located at 52022 34th Avenue, Bangor, MI 49013  to receipt both Summer and Winter 2020 property taxes on March 1st, 2021 9:00AM until 12:00PM and 1:00PM until 5:00PM. Types of currency accepted are cash, check or money order. We do not accept credit or debit cards. Face coverings are required and we do practice social distancing.
